Visit by Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University’s Department of Social Sciences
On 26 May 2016, Professor Boonton Dockthaisong, director of the Doctoral of Public Administration International Programme, Social Science Department, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University of Thailand visited the Buddhist College of Singapore. With him were 8 professors and 8 PhD students of the doctoral programme. Venerable Chuan Qing and Deputy Dean of Academic Affairs Office Dr. Ji Yun warmly welcomed the guests at the Venerable Hong Choon Memorial Hall. Both parties engaged in a friendly dialogue regarding the assimilation of public administrative concepts and methods in the promulgation of Buddhism. Thereafter, Venerable Chuan Qing and Dr. Ji Yun accompanied the guests on a tour of the Kong Meng San Monastery and the Buddhist College of Singapore. Staff of BCS provided a summary of the college’s recent developments, and the visit rounded off with a group photo.
