He exhorted the students to continue their learning and practice and to keep in mind their mission to contribute to Buddhism and benefit more sentient beings. He further highlighted three requirements for students. First, they should be mindful of decorum and uphold the dignified image of the Sangha. Second, eating mindfully is not only part of daily practice and but also aids digestion. Third, practicing meditation is helpful in stress reduction, improves learning abilities and strengthens faith. His ongoing Monday meditation class is always in demand, since attendees find it soothing and beneficial to their health. Thus it is important to continuously practise meditation. Finally, the Rector presented awards to the top students of the last academic year and photos were taken.
