On 2 February 2017 at Marina Mandarin Singapore, the Rector of the Buddhist College of Singapore, Venerable Sik Kwang Sheng, formalized cooperation between the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) of the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills) and Second Minister for Defence Mr. Ong Ye Kung witnessed the ceremony while representatives from the Hindu Centre, MUIS Academy, St. Francis Xavier Major Seminary, Taoist College and Trinity Theological College were also present to pledge their cooperation in fostering inter-religious understanding and harmony through joint-study and research.
